Church Socialist?
I love the church and I love being part of the church; and I believe in the church.

Church Socialist comes out of these affections and is a place for me to talk about what I believe the church can do in the neighborhoods. This isn't put together by pastors and I don't speak as a church leader, but as a regular congregant who is committed to their local church and city.

Until Christ returns to reconcile all things to himself, we the church have the responsibility to provide a foretaste of the kingdom to come as part of our mission. One of the ways we can do that is by redeeming and restoring the world around us with the spirit and capacity given to us; that includes cultivating our neighborhoods and everything that makes it up. This is the heart of Church Socialism.

Church Socialist isn't anything new or trendy, or politically left or right, it's just a name that I believe gives weight to the reality of how a church can provide for the community it's in. I was just hoping to grab a Democrat's attention or maybe scare a Baptist.
